Happy Dance!!

I finished the 3D Miniature House ornament on Saturday, but wanted to wait until the Ornament SAL posting day (last Wednesday of each month).

I don't know if I was supposed to use a different evenweave count than the walls but my roof is way too big. I had to add a fake roof to sew to the walls and keep it all together. Then I glued the shingled roof on top of the fake roof. I think it looks better this way, now the roof hangs over the walls like a real house. Here are photos of the completed house.

I stitched my first BiscoBud awhile ago, but never got it assembled until this month.

  9. Thanks everyone for the lovely comments. I really enjoyed seeing the 3D house come to life while I assembled it. Maybe this will encourage me to do my garden chair which is a miniature 3D chair.... it is still on my to-do list.
