I finally finished the Gingerbread Girl late last night. I added some black beads for her eyes.

Ornament SAL

Yesterday was Ornament SAL check in. Blogger wasn't co-operating last night when I tried to post this.



I only finished one ornament Honey Bunny.




I didn't quite finish the Gingerbread Girl ornament. Here is my progress so far. Should have time to finish it during the "long" weekend.

Gingerbread Girl

While waiting for more Carrie's Creations (twinkle) floss to finish Plaid Trousers. My LNS is having problems getting more of the floss called Twinkle. I don't know when I will get more floss, so I'm doing another ornament. Here is a progress photo of Gingerbread Girl. I also have a boy to do after that will match.

IHSW update

I didn't get much stitching done on Sunday either. I spent the day doing laundry, sitting in my hot tub and a trip to Costco. Here is the little bit I did get done.

IHSW and Canada Blooms

This is IHSW (International Hermit Stitching Weekend). No time to stitch today. Sunday I will be working on Plaid Trousers. Haven't touched it in weeks. I'm waiting for more hand dyed floss (Caren's Creations), my LNS has it on order. I will stitch as much as I can with the floss I have left. That's why I had time to work on Honey Bunny without guilt. Before photo below.



Dave & I are driving to Toronto to Canada Blooms (huge flower/garden/landscape show at the C.N.E.). It started yesterday March 15th and runs until Sunday March 24th. I remember going once before, a long time ago when our boys were very young. I'm looking forward to spending a day pretending that it is spring/summer.

March theme-a-licious

March Theme-a-licious Ornament theme was 3D. I stitched and finished Honey Bunny by Just Nan. This is the first time I have bought a kit from this designer. It was stitched on 32ct mystery fabric.

Stash purchase

I went to my LNS last night, to attend the Cross Stitch Club and I did some shopping. The new Just Nan "Honey Bunny", is so adorable. I will try to stitch this before Easter.




I will be joining many other stitchers around the world who are stitching the Santa's Village. I have already bought the first 4 patterns, and ordered my fabric (28ct coffee Lugana) from my LNS Stitcher's Place (www.stitchersplace.com). I hope to start it in May.
