Floral 2019 SAL - March Block

I finally found time to stitch today/tonight.  I worked on the March block for the Floral 2019 SAL.  Here is a photo of the March Block and my progress. Birthday card for my husband

It is my husband Dave’s birthday today.  This is the card I made for him.  I made his card with a Big Green Egg bbq because Dave has 2 real ones.

Here are his 2 Big Green Eggs.  He bought the Large egg in 2010 for Father’s Day.  The Mini Max sitting on the table we built, was a Christmas gift from our 2 sons about 3 or 4 years ago.

Blackwork Anemone - Part 1

I decided to participate in Lesley Teare’s Blackwork Anemone SAL (12 parts).

I started and finished part 1 tonight.

Fully Finished Gallery SAL #2

I only managed to finish 3 projects for February, but I did use 5 of the 25+ ornaments from my pile.  I made the Star/Rudolph into a pillow ornament.  I will add a hanger soon.  These patterns are from the Cross Stitch Christmas 2001 magazine.  

The 2nd finish Christmas Snowflake was found in magazine I borrowed in 2007 from my friend Lisa.  I made this project into a pin cushion, but I might add a hanger when I do the other ones.

The 3rd project is a 2 sided (cat/snowflake) flat ornament (pillow without the stuffing ... because I forgot to stuff it before closing it up :).  Christmas Cat #1 is from The Magic of Christmas pattern leaflet/book.  Snowflake A is from Just Cross Stitch - December 1997 magazine.  I will make a nicer hanger when I make one for the star/Rudolph ornament.
