 Tonight I finally added the baby's information and also framed it.

I have stitched as much as I can on this project until the baby is born. Now I have to wait to find out the baby’s name, birth date and weight to complete the project.

Handprints Poem - Sun, Moon & Stars

I started a new project on May 15th. This is my 13th time stitching the Handprints poem for a baby. 

I'm stitching this poem again for one of my sons’ close friends who is expecting his second child the middle of June. I stitched the poem for their first baby (boy) in 2023. I asked them if they wanted the poem again or something else for their second baby.  

Their theme is sun & moon, so this is what I came up with and they approved it.

Fabric is 28ct white evenweave (Charles Craft Monaco). I'm stitching the poem and hands with 2 different colours (1 purple/1 turquoise) to represent the birthstone for June (alexandrite).
