Pokemon Gyarados update #1

I worked a little bit on the Pokemon Gyarados project.  This is a Christmas present for my son's girlfriend Sarah.  Sorry the lighting is bad at night for photographing on black.

Planning ... Christmas exchange

I spent the day looking through Christmas Cross Stitch magazines and books looking for something to stitch.  I found a few things I like, sorry I cannot show anything yet.   Here are just 2 of the many magazines I looked through.

Happy Dance

I  finally finished the stitching on Hagatha's Hat cone and brim.  I will try and assemble it sometime soon.

Shopping

No stitching, went to the mall to start looking for a new sweater to wear to my Christmas dinner for work in December.  Haven't found one yet.

Hagatha's Hat update #7

I finished stitching the black back stitching line around the cone.  You don't see the stitches which will be a great thing when it is assembled.  Unfortunately it won't make it easy to see the back stitching to sew the cone shape together.  I will have to sew it together in the daylight.

I started the circle of colour (they look like flowers) for the brim of the hat.  I had a visit from the frogs so the brim didn't get finished.  Here is my progress.

Baking night

I didn't have time to stitch tonight.  I baked 2 dozen banana muffins, a banana square cake, and a round banana cinnamon cake.   This is all using my banana bread recipe but I added some cinnamon.
