Happy Dance

I had a productive stitching weekend.  I started a JBW Alphabet Snowman on Saturday and finished it tonight.  I stitched it with DMC white on 28ct Navy evenweave (even though it looks like cream floss on black fabric).  It is hard to take a photo at night.

Happy Mother's Day

I'd like to wish all the Moms and Grandmothers out there a Happy Mother's Day!!

Shamrock Ornament Assembled

I assembled the shamrock ornament.  I don't know the name of this type of ornament.  I saw it on a blog sometime in the last year, printed off a photo but didn't write down where I found it.  I have tried but cannot find it again, so I am unable to give credit to whoever created it.  If anyone knows what this ornament is called please let me know and I will update my blog.  Here is a photo of my finish, I'm very pleased with it.

Shopping in April
I found this cool gadget while shopping on Amazon.ca (I live in Canada).

Thanks to CraftyCat for introducing me to this other gadget ... Snag Nab It.  I  was able to pick this up at my LNS (Stitcher's Place) along with a new pattern book from Stoney Creek and a tin can that I keep my needles in.
