Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!!
I'd like to share with you a project I stitched in 2009 called Old Celtic Blessing. I made it for my Nana who was Irish. It hangs in the front entrance of my home, it was returned to me after she passed away. It reminds me of her when I see it every morning on my way out the door. I will think of her today as I wear green, which was her favourite colour.

How beautiful! And a perfect way to remember your Nana.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! My grandmother was also Irish, and I took up cross stitching partly because of her.
ReplyDeletethis is a great Irish Blessing and a perfect way to remember. Thank you for sharing, not only your beautiful work, but also what it means to you
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I'm sure it meant as much to her then as it does to you now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea :)
