IHSW and TUSAL

This is after from IHSW.  I didn't get as much time as I had wanted to, but I did manage to finish a room.  The kitchen is the first room complete.  Next weekend I will work on the livingroom (pink room on the right side).   Pink walls are already finished.

My TUSAL photos are on a separate page.

IHSW

It is IHSW (International Hermit & Stitch Weekend).  You can sign up at http://joysze.blogspot.com/2012/01/january-2012-ihsw.html .

I will be working on my BAP Victorian Dollhouse.  This is the before photo.  I'll add the after on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Here are updates on my other rotational WIPS.  Both of these were started the last week of December 2011.

BAP! first photo

Victorian Dollhouse (started January 1st) progress after 2 days of stitching.  Mine will look different, I'm changing some of the colours.

The Victorian Dollhouse cross stitch is based on the Greenleaf McKinley dollhouse design.  I used to be a miniaturist and had this very dollhouse.  When I saw the cross stitch design in the Cross Stitch Magazine I knew I had to stitch it.

I am trying the rotational method this year.  Stitching days for Victorian Dollhouse will be on Friday (evening), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (evening).

I haven't had time to stitch this weekend at all, maybe tonight or Monday.  Trying to figure out my blog.

January stitching goals

I started this stitching blog to join in the TUSAL, ISHW, BAP! and talk to other cross stitchers on the webwho have the same addiction as I do.

I will be stitching four projects in 2012.  I started the following two projects at the end of December 2011.
Stitcher's Days of Christmas 79sts by 490sts (started on Dec 29th) and
Happy Stitching 97sts W by 124sts H (started on Dec 31)
both by Sue Hillis Designs

The Victorian Doll's House designed by Joan Elliott
248sts W by 182sts H (started on Jan 1, 2012)
Cross Stitch Gold - March 2008
I plan on joining the BAP!  Hopefully this will encourage me to finish this by the end of the year.

The Garden Chair - 32ct stitched over 1
designed by the Cat's Whiskers
