B is for ... Blackwork Iris







I stitched this for my friend Kim. Her oldest son Tom and my youngest son Jordyn met in Grade One (both will be 20 years old this year), our families have been friends ever since. I love stitching for my friends, so I gave Kim my cross stitch magazines to look through and this is what she chose. This was my first blackwork project.

    Gorgeous! I love irises and blackwork. I haven't been brave enough to try it yet, but maybe one day! I'm sure your friend will just love it.
