Snowman Ornament - Happy Dance
Today I started and finished stitching a snowman ornament called Heads Up - by CherryWood Design Studio. I saw the design on a cross stitcher's blog (cannot remember which one). The pattern can be found in the Just CrossStitch 2012 Christmas Ornaments magazine. Wilma from my LNS Stitcher's Place let me borrow her copy. Here is what the ornament will look like when it is completed.
Tuesday night at Stitcher's Club, I finished stitching Just Nan's Little Hedgie. I will assemble all the 3D miniatures (mice and hedgehog) after I finish stitching them all.

Strawberry quilted Pot holder
Wednesday I started a new project. It is a quilted pot holder that Dave (my husband) saw at my LNS at Christmas time. The pot holder is 14ct Aida, but I prefer 28ct even weave, so that is what I'm using and will sew the even weave on to the pot holder when it is finished. Here is a photo showing the pot holder with the Aida.
Here is yesterday's progress. I finished 1 whole strawberry.
Today I finished 2 more strawberries.

Question about Colouring Calendar
Cathy at http://stitchinggrandmacathy.blogspot.ca/ left me a comment/question about my Colouring Calendar.
I need to get one of these for my daughter. Did you add the coloring or did it come that way?
Here is a photo of the box. I bought it at Costco last fall, but I'm sure you can find them somewhere else online.
There is a different page to colour each day. As you can see below Saturday & Sunday are on one page.
I have this calendar on my desk at work, but most days I don't have time to colour ... just too busy. When I do, I use 5 different fluorescent highlight markers. The bright colours make me happy.
